This year has been a journey of faith and hope. We are very blessed with a home full of love. I am so thankful God trusted me as wife and mom to my family.

American Girl

In June we spent a weekend in Dallas. First stop...American Girl! The boys walked the mall while Hannah and I were in girl heaven. It is so much fun! Her American girl, Alyssa, got a $10 hairdo. There is BIG money to be made in a doll beauty salon.

Watermelon Kind Of Day

Happy Memorial Day! We are thankful to our troops for our many freedoms. We are thankful for warm, beautiful days of BBQ and watermelon. Family days are the best!

Hannah Grace is a Kindergarten Graduate!

I have to confess I have never been a huge fan of kinder graduation. I think it is a little weird. But this graduation was awesome! The kids sang adorable songs and the school did a wonderful job at making it special. Hannah looked so grown up and I think she is just absolutely wonderful!

She looks like a teenager in these pictures. I need to find one of me at my high school graduation because I think we look alike. Where has the time gone?!?!

Got a makeover!!!

Mama got a mac makeover and felt 5 years younger! And....the icing on the cake.....my dear friend April actually bought me $100ish worth of the makeup! I was so shocked, excited, and thankful. Thanks April!

He is risen! Easter 2011

The "must have holiday" family photo. It really is like pulling hairs to get these people to cooperate! Herb cringes every single time I tell him it is family picture time. Johnny and Hannah have also started hating it. Makes my heart break. Really. I mean- really people- we are making memories here! Smile for the dad gum camera! On a positive note- I love Easter and the meaning of Easter. Thank you Jesus!

I bought Hannah a new dress but she decided she wanted to wear this one. It was not a battle I was willing to fight- possibly because I LOVE this dress! She wore the same one on her very first easter in 2006. She changed into her new dress for lunch.

This year we had Johnny's 8th birthday party at the park. It was so much fun and very relaxed. I love how relaxed birthday parties are now. More fun for me- the party planner.
